SEPTEMBER 18, 2020 – conINT proud to announce that the Call for Papers for their inaugural conference is now open for submissions! Organized by The National Child Protection Task Force (NCPTF), Trace Labs, and The Many Hats Club, conINT aims to be the premier intelligence conference for intelligence and security enthusiasts, students, and professionals from across the globe. The two day event will serve as a fundraiser for NCPTF and Trace Labs, with all proceeds going to help continue their vital mission of assisting law enforcement to locate and recover missing persons, including victims of human trafficking.
conINT 2020 will be held October 17-18, 2020 in an entirely virtual format, broadcast on Twitch. Day 1 will feature a number of presentations and workshops hosted by industry leaders. Day 2 gives attendees the opportunity to put their newly learned skills to use in a Trace Labs OSINT Search Party Capture The Flag (CTF) designed to help law enforcement agencies across the globe locate actual missing persons using Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) techniques. CTF participants will have the opportunity to win prizes by submitting the most valuable information, including vouchers for Offensive Security’s popular Penetration Testing with Kali Linux course as part of their journey to earning their Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) certification.
The conference is being produced by The Many Hats Club, the largest independent information security community on the Discord platform. This is the third conference produced by the Club, with their most recent success coming from April 2020’s Isolation Con, which raised more than £10,000 GBP for international humanitarian medical organization Médecins Sans Frontières as COVID-19 plunged large portions of the world in to lockdown. conINT organizers plan to announce the first keynote speakers in the next few days, with the full schedule being released the week of October 5, 2020.
