SEPTEMBER 20, 2020 – Benjamin Strick, renowned open-source investigator for BBC Africa Eye, is the latest to join the roster of speakers for conINT 2020. Best known for his work on the Peabody Award-winning BBC News Africa’s Anatomy of a Killing, Strick is widely considered an expert in, geospatial intelligence, geolocation, and chronolocation. Strick has also worked on BBC Africa Eye’s Sudan’s Secret Hit Squads and Sudan’s Livestream Masacre, and is an active contributor for Bellingcat.
conINT 2020 will be held October 17-18, 2020 in an entirely virtual format, raising money for the National Child Protection Task Force (NCPTF) and Trace Labs. Day 1 will feature a number of presentations and workshops hosted by industry leaders, while day 2 gives attendees the opportunity to put their newly learned skills to use in a Trace Labs OSINT Search Party Capture The Flag (CTF) challenge. The conference is being produced by The Many Hats Club, the largest independent information security community on the Discord platform.
